AS PROMISED--- and sooner than I expected too.
It has been a little while since we have done an R&D project.... so, no better time than the present... thanks to the suggestion to use the Venus de Milo as a subject we are going to use her as a jumping on and off place. Whichever you prefer.
For this foray into Research and Development I would like to see everyone make 3 different version of Venus. Since she is such an inspirational muse, I am not going to give you specific requirements as to what to do.
What I would like to see is to see her done 3 different ways.... you pick. Examples might be... one pencil another pen and another in paint. Or one realistic, one as a caracature, and one with arms.... or one realistic and two different ones with some ideas as to what her arms were doing.... or paint one blue one green and one off-white.
I just want to see three versions. Be as creative as you like, but I would like to see at least one of them as a representative drawing or painting that looks as much like her as possible.
This R&D 209 will be due on April 4th (2004).
