R&D 006

Hey- I had the time so I thought I should throw some stuff out there. And that is exactly what i am doing.

For this one I really needed what I would consider a classic pose... and this one by Ben fit the bill. It is an interesting pose and at the same time it is a simple pose that we can all understand.. none of us should have to stew and try and have to figure out how he got his limbs into this pose... it is nice and simple. And that is important for this assignment.

You are to leave this pose upside down. As you draw only look at it while it is upside down. And as you draw, you will draw it just as you see it.

The object is that even though this is as I said a simple pose, having it upside down forces us to really look and study... we can't guess here that we know or assume that we know where certain landmarks are on the figure.

Draw this one how ever you want... a contour line drawing would be fine but if you want to shade it in that is fine too, just try to resist the temptation to turn your drawing around til you are finished.

LET'S DRAW!!

...royce

Note: Images are turned back upside right for easier viewing.
