It has been way to long! Now is the time though to get some projects going.
The thought for this one started while looking at some of Royce's recent paintings,
they are diptych (two paintings put together as if they were one) paintings
with one panel a nude the other panel is a painting of fruit. Quite stunning
and interesting to look at. Great inspiration there, Royce! Here is a link to

Our project will be in the same vain, you will pick a pose from one of our wonderful models to draw or paint on one panel then for the second panel you will juxtapose something with that first panel. It can be anything you want, objects that you find interesting and maybe mimic the pose or is a counterpoint to the pose (adding tension or interest), a landscape, something that could add meaning (apparent or not), abstraction, other figures -- the door is wide open here.
Use any size you wish, keeping in mind the two panels do not have to be the same size, any medium, and any style you wish.
