Being inspired by Ron's latest poses I thought we would do something
a bit different, combining the r&d and the fab into one larger
assignment. r&d 228 will be the study drawings for a more formal
fab 033 work.
First off I want to talk about the pose, it is a nice moody pose
with great lighting (thanks Ron!). I took the liberty to reflect
it, so we have Ron and a mirror of Ron, twin Rons as it were. It
makes for a very interesting source to work from.
For r&d 228, I want you to do studies of both figures separately.
Keep it loose and free, gesture like and full of energy but try to
be true to form. Don't flesh them out to much, but don't feel like
you can't get areas of more development for practice on the more
formal fab drawing you will do later. Don't spend to much time on
anyone, these are practices or studies. Do as many as you like and
compare them along the way, think about what you will eventually
with fab 033.
After you do some studies, move to a more formal work of art, this
will be fab 033. Use both figures in this one. Take as much
creative license with this as you want. Be creative and create a
dynamic composition through cropping, color, negative space, adding
other elements, you name it. Heck even move the figures around,
change the size of one of them, sky is the limit!
use any medium that your heart desires

I don't think that I forgot anything soooooooo
lets draw!
