Hello there:
I will try to do this with as little explaination as possible.
I have chosen for this Fabrication two poses by Mark... for some reason these poses really struck a chord with me... 1) it has been a while since we did any thing with multiple figures. and 2) as of late I have been giving thought to a new direction or possibility in my own paintings and these poses seemed to go well with it. that idea is that of putting the figure in to some sort of a believable and recognizable setting.
Oh I must thank Mark for the poses before I get to off here on my description... they are quite nice.
Soooo, For this Fab we are going to be painting... you can paint in what ever medium you want... watercolor is fine, oils are good, oil sticks or pastels will work for sure, whatever you want.
I would like you to incorporate both figures in to the piece, though if you don't want to, that is perfectly fine. but, ideally I think it would be execellent to put both figures in and set the composition up so that the figures are in some sort of setting... an interior, a landscape... but make it so that anyone might be able to say, "oh look there, you go, those figures are in the forest, or the city, or the bottom of the bay... you decide.
So it is pretty straight forward I think. both figures in a painting in a some sort of a scene... use your imaginations. I and if you want to add other figures too go for it... or bunnies or horses with flaming hooves.
This assignment could take a while to work out and as there is a holiday in there for some of us we will have this due on September 25.
LET'S DRAW!!!
