All right, here we go, for the first Figure Fabrication of 2005. Find the pose in the FAB021 Folder. In that folder you will find a photo of a pose created by none other than our authentic kilt wearing Ronnie. I happen to love this pose and I had several ideas for this project before I settled on the one i am about to explain to you. This pose that i consider to be quite expressive is interesting to me in particular because of the stiffness that the pose has. Seems oxymoronic at first. We most typically think of expressive poses being more flowing and cursive.
Given the straightness and stiffness, take this pose and draw it only with straight lines. The length and the thickness of the lines I leave totally up to you. Number of lines is left up to you as well. I am supposing that we may see some fairly representational drawings done with thin small lines that might border on pointilism. (but if they are lines, might it not be dashilism?) On the other hand we also may see drawings done with a combination of some very bold thick lines as well as some thinner more delicate lines.
It is up to you. You decide.
Now- Let's Draw!
